Committed to making a continuous contribution to the development of legal practice in Indonesia, Dentons HPRP’s lawyers actively share knowledge and experience with law students. Recently, Dentons HPRP associate lawyers were invited to speak at several workshops organized by the Faculty of Law in Universitas Indonesia, Depok.
In a workshop titled “Concession Agreements In Port Privatization Policy”, Michael A. Kaihatu, senior associate, and Endang Paramitha Sapardan, associate in Dentons HPRP, shared details on ports, the history of ports in Indonesia, operations, and regulations, including recent developments in regulations related to port privatization policy.
The workshop was held on September 21, 2016 in the Faculty of Law of Universitas Indonesia. Ms. Ratih Letari, as the representative of the dean of faculty attended and gave the opening remarks.
In another college activity, Mika Isac Kriyasa, Senior Associate of Dentons HPRP, was also invited to speak at a legal workshop discussing the impact of intellectual property impact on the creative economy and e-commerce opportunities in Indonesia (5/10). In this workshop, Mika spoke about empowering branding in the creative economy and e-commerce. Other renowned speakers were Ari Juliano Gema, Deputy of the Intellectual Property Rights and Regulation of the Creative Economy Board, and Shinta Nurfauzia, Co-Founder & CEO Konsula & Lemonilo.
