Dentons HPRP lawyer Michael A. Kaihatu shared his views in an opinion column titled “The National Spatial Plan for Strategic Projects” in The Jakarta Post (1/3).

In the article, Michael wrote that there is an urgent need to harmonize the national spatial plan with Presidential Regulation (PP) No.3/2016 concerning the acceleration of the implementation of national strategic projects. He also suggested the Indonesian government identify all of the relevant spatial planning regulations and coordinate the central and regional government institutions. This harmonization will ensure the proper development of national strategic projects.
