Arranged by RHTLaw Taylor Wessing, Singapore, the discussion referred to current uncertain global economic situation where ASEAN’s growth has been spotlighted as a promising opportunity, especially Indonesia.

Andre with other distinguished experts, H.E. Ngurah Swajaya, Ambassador of The Republic of Indonesia to Singapore, Ricky Kusmayadi, Director of The Indonesian Investment Promotion Centre (IIPC) Singapore, and Azman Jaafar, Deputy Managing Partner of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing, shared insights on Economic Assessments of Indonesia, Economic Growth Outlook in Asia Pacific, Indonesia as an Investment Destination, and Navigating Challenges presented by the Indonesian market.

In his presentation, Andre shared thoughts on current investment issues in Indonesia, such as the absence of implementing regulations, lack of harmonization of national and regional regulations in certain cases, while highlighting the country’s big promising sectors for investments, such as infrastructure, ports and airports, natural resources (minerals, oil & gas, plantation), renewable resources, and an increasingly important industry, Fintech.
