Dentons HPRP’s Partner, Fabian Pascoal, was invited to share his expertise in the 2019 Indonesia Development Forum (IDF) in Jakarta (23/7). Arranged by the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Board (Badan Perencanaan Nasional or Bapenas) and the Australian Government, the discussion presented the topic “Mission Possible: Seizing the Opportunities of Future Work to Drive Inclusive Growth.”

Fabian, together with other distinguished experts, among others, Rahma Iryanti, the Executive Director of the Strategic Coordination Team for Strengthening Development Assistance of Bapenas, and Robert Endi Jaweng, the Executive Director of the Regional Autonomy Monitoring Committee (KPPOD), shared insights on improving the investment climate for the job market.;

In his presentation, Fabian shared thoughts on how to turn the challenges in current investment issues in Indonesia into opportunities. He believes that economic growth has a significant effect on the job market, and that we need a global network to increase our economic growth since basically globalization is combination of specialization and collaboration.
