Gilbert, Head of our Intellectual Property and Technology practice group in Singapore also clinched the Data Privacy and Protection Lawyer of the Year Award last year and has often been lauded by clients for his ability to integrate legal, commercial and technology know-how into seamless advice. Gilbert’s extensive experience in commercial and IP counsel enables him to negotiate and draft commercial agreements professionally in relation to distribution of goods/services, procurement and tenders, manufacturing arrangements, licensing, maintenance, acquisition of intellectual property such as trademark and patents, consultancy services and IP structuring.

Mika, Partner at our Indonesia office, has extensive knowledge and experience in technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT). Named by Magazine Acquisition International as the Most Recommended Telecommunication, Media and Technology (TMT) Lawyer in 2017, Mika has provided legal advice for companies in the related sector, both domestically and internationally, and also has experience in Data Privacy, Banking & Finance, General Corporate and Investment.

Maw Jiun is a Partner and Co-Head of Singapore’s Patents and Data Privacy & Protection and Cybersecurity practices. His areas of practice encompass worldwide registration of intellectual property, infringement and counterfeiting actions, commercial litigation involving intellectual property, commercialisation of intellectual property rights. He also has an extensive experience in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, RFPs and tenders in relation to IT. Maw Jiun was also recognised as one of Asia’s brightest legal minds under the age of 40 in 2022.
