Dentons HPRP is actively involved in the Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) project, the prospective new capital city of Indonesia. Recently, the lead partners, Maurice Maulana Situmorang and Winda Tania, participated in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Forum held by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) in IKN. In addition to KADIN's invitation, our participation in the forum was driven by a commitment to assist our clients with ongoing PPP projects in IKN.
While in IKN, both partners had the exclusive opportunity to witness firsthand the ongoing project developments, gaining valuable insights into the region's growth potential. The diverse projects showcased underscored the dynamic nature of Public Private Partnership initiatives in IKN.
Dentons HPRP stands out as one of the few law firms actively supporting clients in the first batch of PPP projects in IKN, emphasizing its pivotal role in shaping the legal landscape for such initiatives. Beyond investor assistance, our team actively contributes insights and legal advisories on regulations and policies within the IKN Authority (OIKN) framework. This involvement even predates the selection and appointment of OIKN deputies by the Government.
Dentons HPRP invites prospective investors in OIKN, particularly in the infrastructure sector with PPP schemes, to inquire about investment opportunities in the evolving landscape of IKN. Leveraging our wealth of experience, we are well-prepared to provide tailored solutions, strategic insights, and seamless advisory services to assist other companies and investors eyeing opportunities in IKN.
