As an effort to improve the transportation sector, particularly railway transport, the Job Creation Act (Law No.11 of 2020) has amended several provisions contained in the existing regulations in the railway sector. To support these amendments, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia has promulgated Government Regulation No. 33 of 2021 concerning Implementation of the Railway Sector (“GR 33/2021”).
