Recently, the government of Indonesia issued a new regulation concerning the Establishment, Management, Supervision, and Dissolution of State Owned Enterprises (“SOE”) (“GR 23/2022”). Amending the previous regulation, this new regulation aims to optimise the role of SOE as agents of national development in support of the national economy via the strengthening of SOE institutions and resources based on principles of good corporate governance.
