The Government of Indonesia (“GoI”) and relevant stakeholders have been focusing on preparation of a Presidential Regulation regulating the mechanism for investing in new and renewable energy (“RE”) business and the determination of tariffs. In the meantime, on 24 February 2020, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“MEMR”) issued a new regulation that provides amendments to the previous one.
