Dentons HPRP partner Hendra Ong, a member of the board of management of the Association of Indonesian Private Power Suppliers (Asosiasi Produsen Listrik Swasta Indonesia / APLSI), took part in a discussion regarding the amendment of Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral / ESDM) No. 42 of 2017 concerning the Supervision of Exploitation in Business Activities in the Energy and Mineral Resources Sector (Permen 42/2017).

Applicable to oil and natural gas, electrical power, minerals and coal, and geothermal energy businesses, this regulation requires an approval from the Minister in connection with some agenda items.
